Saturday, May 5th was a beautiful spring day with perfect weather for 76 area runners to gather amongst 35,000 other people for the Indianapolis Mini Marathon. This makes the sixth year Team YFC has taken a group of dedicated people to Indy to run the half marathon or 5k. Not only do these tremendous people pull together and train for three months prior for this event, they also acquire sponsorships for their participation. Our runners try to raise $100 per mile that they run and this year many have succeeded or surpassed that goal! Our top donation raiser this year was Ed Girod. Ed has run the marathon with our team every year we have participated. We would like to thanks each one of people who participated in this exciting event, not only the runners, but each of you who supported a runner or walker. The funds raised will help continue YFC programs in the Adams, Jay and Wells counties. Thank you to every one who has, “...run with endurance the race that is set before us.” Hebrews 12:1
